The Radical Seafaring exhibit at Parrish Art Museum includes Buckminster Fuller among several artists, spanning generations and mediums, that explore the relationship between humanity and the natural environment.
Buckminster Fuller influenced Mary Mattingly, also in the exhibit, whose work resembles Fuller's geodesic structures. The image above won't be in the exhibit, but you can find it and many others in Cole Gerst's Buckminster Fuller: Poet of Geometry.
