The book emphasizes the importance of imagination in daily life and shows us that we all have unique traits. Naoshi uses Sunae, a technique of painting with colored sand, creating a sweet and surreal world with Ice Cream Work.
The Field Guide to Drinking in America by Niki Ganong
Production Manager: Pat McDonald
Designer: Cole Gerst
Printer: Four Colour Print Group
The Field Guide to Drinking in America was written for the tippling traveler. America’s alcohol laws are confusing: What’s true for one state is rarely true for its neighbor. Author Niki Ganong expertly blends an overview of each state’s alcohol-related history with the current laws of the land.
In the pages of the book you'll:
Find information for each state on when bars make last call. Learn how packaged liquor, beer, and wine are sold in each state. Plan ahead for the Sunday “blue laws” that can put a damper on weekend parties. Whether you’re a thirsty armchair traveler or a road tripper, The Field Guide to Drinking in America will keep you informed and entertained.
Congratulations to all of this year's PubWest Design Awards winners — keep making beautiful books!
