We're pleased to be the current featured publisher in the Chin Music Press showroom at Pike Place Market in Seattle. They'll be selling all of our titles and Overcup-related items throughout the holiday season.

You’ll find great gift ideas from Overcup Press and Chin Music Press in the showroom for everyone on your holiday shopping list. There are books for all kinds of readers on your list. It's a store full of Chin Music Press's lovely, thoughtfully designed books covering lots of reading territoryfiction, art, cultural studies, politics, memoirs, food, essay collections and photography.

A selection of cards, buttons, and sunae (sand art) kits made by Naoshi at Chin Music Press at Pike Place Market in SeattleOur latest release, Ice Cream Work by Naoshi, has been compared to a psychedelic strawberry shortcake for its bright colors and surreal images. Naoshi works exclusively with sand to create the images in the book using a Japanese technique known as Sunae.

Chin Music also has a full assortment of Naoshi’s cards, pins and DIY sunae kits.

Each book features artists from each eponymous city, a sampling of their art, and a handwritten survey answering questions about their lives and their city.

They also have signed copies of The Field Guide to Drinking in America: A Traveler’s Handbook to State Liquor Laws by Niki Ganong in the Chin Music Press showroom. This book makes a perfect gift for discerning tipplers, armchair travelers, history lovers and trivia buffs.
