A selection of cards, buttons, and sunae (sand art) kits made by Naoshi at Chin Music Press at Pike Place Market in SeattleOur latest release, Ice Cream Work by Naoshi, has been compared to a psychedelic strawberry shortcake for its bright colors and surreal images. Naoshi works exclusively with sand to create the images in the book using a Japanese technique known as Sunae.

Chin Music also has a full assortment of Naoshi’s cards, pins and DIY sunae kits.

Each book features artists from each eponymous city, a sampling of their art, and a handwritten survey answering questions about their lives and their city.
