Portland’s annual Holiday Ale Festival gets underway today (December 2nd) at Pioneer Courthouse Square. With 50+ big, bold craft holiday ales on tap, it’s a much loved Pacific NW holiday tradition. The festival will be in full swing from Wednesday, December 2nd – Sunday, December 6th.
Head out to the festival in Pioneer Courthouse Square in Portland and raise a glass with Niki Ganong, author of The Field Guide To Drinking in America, along with other beer and libation authors. This is a great opportunity to meet the authors in person and do some holiday shopping while enjoying some great drinks!
Authors scheduled to be at the Holiday Ale Festival:
Niki Ganong (The Field Guide To Drinking in America)
Aaron McConnell (The Comic Book Story of Beer)
Brian Yaeger (Oregon Breweries)
Jacob Grier (Cocktails on Tap)
Steven Shomler (Portland Beer Stories)
Jeff Cioletti (The Year of Drinking Adventurously)
Denny Conn (Experimental Homebrewing)
Bob Wright (Story of the Brass)
Jon Abernathy (Bend Beer)
Lucy Burningham (Hop in the Saddle: A Guide to Portland's Beer Scene by Bike)
The authors will donate a $1 from each book sold to the Children’s Cancer Association My MusicRX program. And the Holiday Ale Festival will match and double the authors' donations for this great cause!
What are you waiting for? Bundle up and head out for some holiday cheer!
