The second annual Indie Author Day is Saturday, October 14th. Libraries across the US, Canada, and the UK will help celebrate local, independent authors with panels, book signings, readings, and more.

Indie Author Day focuses on the independent author, often called the self-published author, and many of the events are sponsored by publishing industry organizations to “build the relationships between libraries and authors.” Their dedicated website offers a plethora of resources, including workshop videos and guest bloggers who provide publishing industry information.
