Tolly has a special place in our hearts. Thankfully, retailers around town have also found this artistic and inspiring children’s book to be treasure, and stock it on their shelves. We’d like to give a shoutout to these wonderful Portland shops and bookstores that stock Tolly, among other great books and products.
Green Bean Books is a whimsical children’s bookstore in the Alberta Arts District. They have story times in multiple languages, summer camps, and even a deck and a garden! If you and your children haven’t visited this adorable bookshop, put some of their events (such as their monthly “Read to a Dog” event) on your summer to-do list.

A neighborhood favorite in NE Portland, Broadway Books recently celebrated their 25th anniversary and are well-known for their knowledgeable and friendly staff. They stock new and used books in almost every genre imaginable, and have been known to carry our Tall Trees series as well as Tolly!

Oodles for Kids is a children’s book and toy store in the Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood of SE Portland. Their colorful shelves are just begging for you to get lost in them on a rainy afternoon, and you’ll find plenty of games, toys, books, and everything else you can imagine!

Right downtown, Boys Fort provides a lovingly-curated oasis for everything ruff, gruff, and manly—though Tolly somehow fits right in with the Overcup titles and other books on display. If you ever need a Father’s Day gift or something for your boyfriend’s birthday, this is the place to go!

Annie Bloom's Books, located in SW Portland/Multnomah Village, has a lovely collection of books from all genres--and they also have a cat, Molly Bloom, who lives in the store!

A well-known and much beloved establishment in Portland, Powell's City of Books takes up a whole city block and has multiple floors. It’s insanely easy to get lost in all those stacks of books--but think of all the gems you’ll find!
